River Hills has a Safety and Health Committee that implements procedures to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.
We follow state requirements for fire and tornado drills.
A Plan of Action for safety and health concerns and emergency procedures/guidelines have been established. Selected River
Hills staff are certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR ) and Basic First Aid.
In the interest of safety and health for out students, all certified school employees are mandatory reporters of child
abuse, as required by Iowa law.
