How to learn about AEA 267 office closures and PD cancellations due to inclement weather

When inclement weather strikes, AEA 267 staff and local educators have three ways to learn about office closures and professional development cancellations:

Call 1-866-923-1089 and listen to the voice mail message. Events will be cancelled office by office (Cedar Falls, Marshalltown and Clear Lake). Select the geographic area where your PD offering is being offered from the menu prompts.
Visit the front page of the AEA 267 website at http://www.aea267.k12.ia.us and look under Latest News.
Sign up at https://schoolalerts.iowa.gov/ for text/email announcements. You will need to sign up for this service by area (Clear Lake, Cedar Falls and/or Marshalltown or special schools

Iowa School Alerts / School Delays and Closings:

AEA 267 River Hills will be using Iowa School Alerts, a free, state-hosted announcement system, to announce delays and cancellations / closings. The alerts are sent to your email and / or cell phone as they are announced. Please take a few minutes to sign up with Iowa School Alerts.
